Well, my friends, it’s been quite a journey. Life hasn’t gone exactly the way I had pictured that it would. I’ve been through divorces and seen these situations from many angles and causes, and I’ve witnessed strife in marriages and family since age 8. I’ve decided to respond to all this by “making lemonade out of lemons” and, as noted above, Finishing Strong – in a way that will help others. I want to use those experiences and the transformation God has done in my life to help you avoid similar issues, problems, and trials in your lives. The goal is to eliminate divorce in your family … on your street.. .. in your town …. in the borough …. in the entire county …. and beyond, through counseling, retooling/willingness to retool, soul and behavior renovation/willingness to renovate, breaking the cycle of poor coping skills when the going gets tough/willingness to break the cycle, and more.

It is very important that single and engaged people realize that they should be actively preparing themselves, especially if a quality marriage was not modeled to them in their own childhood. For some, this means DO NOT become a marriage partner; do not become a parent. Some of us are not cut out for it.

Those happily married cannot, in any way, rest on their laurels and blindly/pridefully think that marital strife and divorce will never affect them. Preventive seeds must be sown now. Direct steps and high yield practices, involving individual and marital adjustments, are necessary. And, finally, for those in a dark time in their marriage, IT IS NEVER TOO BROKEN THAT IT CAN’T BE FIXED.

Believe it when we tell you, you want to do everything you can to keep your issues out of the court system. Don’t go there. Don’t redirect tens of thousands of dollars to lawyers.

We are all born with pride, selfishness, lust, and materialistic tendencies. Each of them is a tempest that will devour you if you’re not careful.
